With the recently completed beach sand track being available for use, Powerhouse Thoroughbreds can now offer a greater range of services.

To date Powerhouse Thoroughbreds has been providing low impact water walker and treadmill exercise pre-training for horses returning to work from a spell, returning from injury, for rehab and importantly, respite between races, with the ability to build or upkeep fitness with such low impact exercise apparatus.

The off-course facility offers a quiet, open-air environment for horses during their stay.

Each horse has its own individual box, walk in walk out shelter and fully grassed day yard with safe and secure fencing and where horses require company being housed side by side.

An addition to the already existing water walker and treadmill, the track will complete a circle of services Powerhouse may provide clients.

Again, a low impact surface, horses can be ridden as part of their routine when pre-training with Powerhouse Thoroughbreds.

With proximity to Scone studs and veterinary services it makes for easy hands-on inspection of horses by stud representatives managing horses on behalf of their trainers, provides ease for vets to re-examine horses being monitored during return from injury and allows short transport trips for horses coming from the local area, with a shuttle service available by Powerhouse Thoroughbreds when required.
